Please join us for an accompanied sound walk with Nottingham based artist Andrew Brown, in collaboration with Charlotte Marron, Alison Squires, Emily Stollery, Demi Hill, Miriam Willott and Harry Walker from Nottingham Trent University. The experience, developed in association with students from Nottingham Trent University, will discuss the topographies of the city and the relationship art and the UK Young Artists festival has to it. The walk will conclude with an informal discussion group. Andrew Brown is a Senior Lecturer on the interdisciplinary Fine Art course at NTU and has a long track record in solo and collaborative projects involving sound, text, film and performance. He founded the project Open City in 2006 and has since composed soundwalks in cities across the globe.
