Award-winning spoken word artist Jemima Foxtrot will run a two-hour workshop exploring how to write poetry with music as stimulus. The workshop will look at rhythm, image and avoiding cliche as well as looking at ways of blending song, spoken word and storytelling.
Jemima Foxtrot is a poet, performer and theatre maker who enjoys blending song and spoken word and was shortlisted for the Arts Foundation Spoken Word Fellowship 2015.
Jemima's first solo show Melody toured nationally and she is currently developing her second solo show which is supported by Arts Council England. Jemima's first collection of poetry All Damn Day is published by BurningEye Books.
