Founded in 2008, UK Young Artists is registered charity funded and supported by Arts Council England, De Montfort, Derby, Loughborough and Nottingham Trent Universities. Since its inception, UK Young Artists has supported over 1000 artists in the UK and internationally through  cross art form national arts festivals and at five European festivals  with the International Biennale of Young Artists of Europe and the Mediterranean (BJCEM), with whom UK Young Artists is partnered. Investment from Arts Council England in 2015 has meant that over the coming years we will be broadening our focus and extending our offer to young artists, offering a holistic programme of support to young people, with opportunities to connect, collaborate and create new work, whilst continuing to celebrate creativity in the UK and Internationally.
