The Emerge 2017 Festivals are fast approaching (find out about the artists and projects here) and Shakespearience Corby needs you! Impulse Collective and Scufflebox Theatre Company have been working with groups of young people in Corby to conceptualise, programme, market and manage a one-day festival inspired by Shakespeare - with a Corby twist. As part of this festival, the young people are inviting artists from Northampton and Northamptonshire to submit their artworks to compete to be shown in Shakespearience Corby.

The young leaders who have developed the Festival will select the very best works from those submitted. They welcome submissions from a variety of art forms including, but not limited to sculpture, paintings, drawings, prints, photographs and applied art.

The exhibition will form part of the festival on Sun 23 April and will then be showcased for four weeks thereafter at the Rooftop Arts Centre, 9 Chisholm House 1PZ, Queens Square, Corby NN17 https://rooftopgalleryandworkshops.yolasite.com/

Your work will also be entered into a Public voted competition ‘Best of the Fest’ where you can win some art supplies!

To qualify for entry you must:
• Be a resident in Corby, Northampton or Northamptonshire
• Be an emerging artist aged 25 and under
• Submit work that links with either the community, Corby and/or Shakespeare

Each artist will be asked for a small description of their piece/s and provide photographs of any produced work.

To submit your work, download this form and submit it to jodie.lees@thecorecorby.com before Monday 27 March at 9am.
