In light of the UK's decision to leave the EU and after what has been an eventful, shocking and sad few days for our country, UK Young Artists is looking to the future with hope and optimism.

As an organisation that prides itself on international collaborations - on uniting UK artists with creatives from all over Europe and the world for invaluable intercultural exchange, the result came as a disappointment. However, now more than ever, we must come together and continue this work.

We must continue to build bridges, cross borders and break down walls. We must continue to connect across the world, and make, share and enjoy art together. To all of our friends across the pond, and all international creatives living in the UK - we're still standing for unity and will continue to champion intercultural dialogue and international collaboration!

We are delighted to be new members of the International Network, Biennale des jeunes créateurs de l’Europe et de la Méditerranée and we look forward to continuing our successful partnership with them, as well as working with other creative partners in Europe and across the world.

Despite the ‘Leave' vote, the UK will continue to have a presence and role in Europe and we wish to ensure that this role is a positive, engaged and enlightened one that connects young artists.
