Jordan Hayward is a poet and short story writer who is about to start his third year of English Literature with Creative Writing at Salford University. He is currently working on his first collection of poetry and prose, encompassing a variety of themes from surrealism to existentialism, as well as being more intently focussed on sound and sardonic humour.

The selection of poems cover myriad themes and narratives, from an undead and socially inept horse to a traffic-light filled apocalypse. The work dips in and out of humour, while raising questions about certain subjects such as bereavement and light pollution.
