UK Young Artists is proud to announce that the first national event is to be hosted in the East Midlands in October 2010.
From 21 - 24 October Derby will welcome the best creative talent from artists under 30 to showcase their work across a full spectrum of art forms.
As well as the main exhibition, the event will support emerging creative networks and professional development, alongside workshops, performances, seminars and a host of public events.
From this national showcase approximately 10 participants will be selected to represent the UK at the Biennale of Young Artists from Europe and the Mediterranean in Morocco in 2011.
UK Young Artists will be working in partnership with Derby’s leading arts organisations and Derby City Council to deliver the event.
