Opportunities

Arts Awards

UK Young Artists are a registered Arts Award centre. We deliver the Awards through specific projects and programmes. New and upcoming opportunities to complete an award will be shared on our website and social media channels.

Arts Awards are a unique qualification and opportunity to gain leadership experience whilst developing as an artist in your own right. To achieve the award, you take on a personal artistic challenge, participate in a range of arts activities, attend events, meet artists and share your skills with others. Throughout the project you create a portfolio to keep a record of your creative journey and along the way are supported by an Arts Award adviser, who acts as your mentor and assessor.

With support from UK Young Artists staff, you will, depending on the project, make artistic, delivery and financial decisions on your project area. Some roles will involve managing volunteers and working directly with members of the public, others supporting artists and venue teams.
