Sarah is fascinated by relationships between people, the physical closeness between them or what sets them apart, and the necessity of this physical proximity to others.

Her fascination for sibling relationships partly comes from the fact that she grew up without siblings - her half-brother was born when she was twenty years old - and always wondered what it would be like to have a brother or sister. Now as an adult, she observes siblings, repeatedly photographing and filming them; trying to get a closer understanding of what this familial intimacy means.
