James Kelly

His work Transformation of the Mind which will be performed at the Biennale uses vocal samples from philosopher Jiddu Krishnamurti who talks of our ability to transform our own minds through deep thought. To reflect the intercultural nature of the Biennale, James will incorporate samples from folk music recordings from countries involved in the Biennale including Macedonia.

James will be giving a workshop at the Biennale and participants will be able to have a go on the DJ equipment, learn basic DJ techniques and create a new composition/ improvisation with each other.
