Iain Finlay

Iain describes Wintering:

"Wandering from a dead house party and out through the wilderness, a woman witnesses a man setting fire to clothes on a secluded bridge. Intrigued, she follows him into the night, watching as he engages in more acts of destruction. Drawn closer towards the man and his increasingly bizarre behavior, the woman chooses to intervene."

On being selected for the Biennale, Iain says: "It's great news, especially knowing that the year before, the UK did not take any narrative/cinema work, it is great that this will be part of it in 2009."
